Whether tenth lord is Functional malefic or benefice or yogakaraka in your hororscope

After that, its important to look at the Amatyakaraka planet (Planet with the second highest degree in your hororscope) placement in your chart

One great technique to determine your destined career is to look at the Zodiac sign placement of Atmakaraka planet (Planet with highest degree in your hororscope) in Navmansha chart (D-9 chart). Make that Zodiac sign in your natal chart the ascendent of your natal chart. Just remember that when you change the ascendent of your natal chart as mentioned above, planets will stick to their original zodiac signs in natal chart only the ascendent & houses will change. Now in which soever house your Amatyakaraka planet (Planet with second highest degree) will be falling, that house would remain to be your destined career in this life. For example 3rd house will signify marketing & so many others, 4th house will signify Real estate & so many others

Then we would come to another step of checking the combinations in the divisional chart. The divisional chart devoted to career is Dasamsa chart (D-10)

We will follow the same steps of first checking the Tenth house condition (Aspects/conjunction), placement of Tenth Lord (Aspect/conjunction) & its condition in D-10 chart
