Palmistry – An introduction

Palmistry – An introduction

Palmistry is the most underrated occult subject in the minds of people. It’s the index of one’s mind, by studying which you can easily know about the character, health, temperament & good deal of an individual’s past & future life. How can God be unfair to His own offspring by not providing them with a tool to foresee their impending obstacles, so He decided to imprint it in an encrypted form in the palms of each individual. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that an expert palmist just by looking at your palm can accurately tell about your birth details & life span as well. The root of this Divine science can be traced back to the mystical land India where from eons of years sages & seers have contributed to the development of this clairvoyance subject. In modern times this legacy has been taken forward by internationally acclaimed Irish palmist “Cheiro”, who gained this expertise in India by learning this divine science from Hindu Brahmins (He gives special thanks to Joshi caste for the preservation of this knowledge)

Some pointers which I would like to bring into the knowledge of people who are completely unfamiliar with this subject

  • The hand which we use for our maximum work like writing, lifting is known as Active hand & other as Passive hand in palmistry. It is being known as the lines on the Passive hand tells about a natives inherited traits or the traits with which he was born in this life and the lines on the Active hand tells what a native has developed into or his current self. It’s important for a palmist to have a meticulous look on both hands before predicting anything
  • It’s a myth that our palm lines are permanent, as these lines keep on changing with the current physical, mental & material conditions of our life. For example while undergoing extreme tension & strain could produce zig zag worry lines on our palm & getting rid of tension & attaining peace via meditation could suddenly make all these worry lines disappear from the palm
  • Our hands are the immediate servants or instruments of the brain. There are more sensory nerves from the brain to the hand than to any other portion of the body. These sensory nerves continually and unconsciously keep on reflecting the thought and character of the mind or soul of the individual on the hands. This is the reason your palm lines encompasses all traits of your personality whether the dormant one’s or the lively ones
  • As predicting future is concerned, this can be better explained via this example that human Brain is always at work. Sometimes this work is happening for the result which will manifest 5-10 years down the line. But as brain is in an intimate & sensory connection with the palm. The palm also starts showing the traces (of the future) much before in advance on the palm of a person, which gets deciphered by a learned palmist
  • There are few lines which are the pillars of an individual’s personality. Like Head line (Mentality, morals & attitude towards others), Life line (Longevity & vitality) & Heart line (Affections). Any irregularity found in them on the palm will surely result in the form of an irregular personality or behavior
  • Astrology & Palmistry are alchemists secret. This is a proven fact that they both hint in one direction and always are in sync with each other. If an occultist master both of these sciences, there is a very less possibility that his judgement or made prediction will go wrong

The best Vedic remedy as advised by our sages & seers from aeons of years to strengthen our palm lines & beautify our fate is to look at our palm first thing in the morning & utter this mantra.

“Karagre Vaste Lakshmi, Kar Madhye Saraswati, Karmule tu Govind, Prabhate Kar Darshanam” II

Planet of luxury & happiness in Vedic astrology – Venus (Shukra)

Venus

In today’s day & age if there is one planet which is responsible for all the material happiness, amenities & pleasure, then that planet is none other than Venus. If we take into consideration the realistic figure of people who live with contentment or have embraced spiritual mode of living, the outcome would be dismal low because the fact is we all are running after satisfying our never ending appetite for material gain. This is the reason why Venus has gained so much prominence in our daily lives. I would try to present a different non redundant perspective on this planet something which I found true in my research on numerous charts

  • Venus in one word can be defined as happiness, its position in the horoscope tells which area of life native will derive maximum happiness & contentment. For example Venus’s placement in the fourth or second house will make native derive maximum happiness from family or mother (Depending on sign & nakshatra placement). It represents female & relationship with females in a man’s chart whether a man will benefit from opposite sex or run into troubles because of them, whether the relationship will be spiritual, amorous everything can be known by looking at the position of Venus alone in the horoscope
  • Venus represents all the luxury things available in this world along with being a chief significator of Vehicles & liquid cash. A good position of Jupiter makes millionaires or bestows top segment cars, but only Venus has the capacity to produce billionaires or bestow big boy toys like Rolls Royce & private jets
  • Happiness represented by Venus can be elaborated as all those things which give us pleasure or fill us with happiness. Whether it’s Sex, eating sweets/ chocolates, splurging on luxury clothes. A good posited Venus confirms an individual’s fine & refined taste; love for beauty along with appreciation for arts, music & creativity. Amongst the top vocations ruled by Venus are fashion, music, films or anything which has to do with beautifying others or sensuality like beautician, strippers to name a few
  • Trouble in accumulating money, sweet tooth problem, persistent conflicts with females, alcohol or gambling addiction, sex perversion or obsession are all seen from affliction to Venus
  • A good Venus in the Horoscope (esp. if related to ascendant) gives good looks, beautiful features & well proportioned body, though if in excess in a man’s chart could make him look bit feminine. As we say Sun has the capacity to brighten the areas of the house where it sits in the Horoscope; Jupiter has the capacity to expand things (be it body-weight or wealth); Rahu has the capacity to amplify things; Venus has the capacity to beautify things, its position in the horoscope tells which part of your body will be most beautiful. For example, Venus’s position in the second house confirms that the individual will have a beautiful face or lips
  • Venus represents sex hormones, DNA or tissues of muscles in human body. Which consequently holds maximum say in our sex drive and ability to recuperate from diseases
  • Only Venus is the planet in Vedic astrology which has the capacity to give posthumous fame to an individual. If any ways it gets connected to the 8th house of natal chart in a good dignity. You can remain assured that your name will remain or remembered long time after you will be gone or dead
  • Even the three nakshatras (Bharani, Purva Phalguni & Purva Ashadha) ruled by Venus carry distinct traits within themselves; Bharani is the extreme amongst all nakshatras in the areas of sexuality, materialism, unpredictability & chaos; Purva Phalguni is the most comfort loving, well mannered & attention seeking nakshatra; Purva Ashadha is one of the most optimistic nakshatra with a nonchalant attitude towards misery & adverse circumstances

As strengthening of Venus’s position in the horoscope is concerned, I am writing few remedies which can help empower the most important planet of today’s day & age in our lives.  Its better the person should take refuge in the worship of Goddess Durga; rather than channelizing His/ her Venusian energy to opposite sex, the person should transcend it to the ultimate love & compassion for the almighty & humanity; wearing diamond ring also helps; Donation of white things like milk, sugar or flour on particular days (preferably Friday); & lastly, servicing & helping blind people will surely compel the beauty inducing planet to beautify things in our lives

OUTER Planets - Wallpaper

Our ancient seers while writing the divine knowledge of astrology dint see these Outer planets, which got discovered recently only by the astronomers (compare to other planets)

[Time of Discovery – Uranus (March 13, 1781), Neptune (Sep 23, 1846), Pluto (Feb 18, 1930)]

An accurate prediction can be made without considering these planets as well, as our ancient Jyotish is robust & impervious to any flaws. But going by the fact how strong weight-age western astrologers give to these planets & not forgetting the ultimate objective of clairvoyance (Which is to help humankind). It’s important that Vedic astrology practitioners should also start involving Uranus, Neptune & Pluto in their analysis. Some basic facts about these outer planets (Uranus, Neptune & Pluto), which I found true in my research

The effect of inner planets (personal) happens on the tangible & material level in an individual’s life (Education/ spouse/ health/ wealth etc), whereas outer planets (inter-personal) due to their slow moving nature & position in the natal chart effects you on a deeper inner conscious level

They can be defined as, Uranus (The unexpected) – Rebellion, sudden events, surprising turns of fate; Neptune (The Dreamer) – , Mystic, visionary & intuitive; Pluto (The power-machine) – Insane energy & transformation

• Uranus – Uranus represents rebelliousness & sudden events, so in order to adapt to its extreme nature we need to develop our individuality in the areas pertaining to that house where it is sitting in the horoscope. As, Uranus takes us outside the normal norms & force us to behave in a taboo breaking way. Like choosing an unusual different career or marrying someone completely different from our innate personality. Though, this placement is a boon for adventure lovers or people who love challenges on a daily basis. But there are segments of people who seek contentment in stability, who remains at the suffering end because of the extreme nature of Uranus. The solution lies in accepting the changes and disruption in one’s life rather than resisting them.

• Neptune – Its placement shows our deep longing for the affairs of that House. If placed in the 2nd House of family, native will try to connect in a profound way with his family members. It would become like a worship or spiritual practice for the native to go deeper in the matters of his family. Neptune is considered an important planet for the people in Media, cinema, music, astrology or occultism profession, as it requires an individual to have an intense imaginative, dreamy, intuitive & fantasy filled personality. On matters pertaining to conjunction, it gives strong connection with the matters which conjunct planet represent. For example, you will find people with their Neptune conjunct Moon having a strong spiritual connection with the Motherly figures. As a remedy to control this power, it’s advisable for the individual to expand or transcend its attention to a broader horizon rather than restricting it to a narrowed level

• Pluto – Pluto is the biggest ego destroyer & acts like Lord Shiva in a way. Wherever it is placed, an individual needs to destroy his ego centric ideas of “I & my” for the matters of that house. As, it has been seen that people tend to have maximum frustration with the matters of that house where Pluto is placed. For example, Pluto’s placement in the house of spouse (7th) could lead to frustration, power struggle & ego clashes in the relationship. The only remedy to Pluto power struggle lies in developing the opposite house. For example, if the placement of Pluto in the 2nd House is giving struggle within family, you should learn to develop the inner peace (8th House); If it’s placement in the 10th house is giving hard time in career, you should seek help in the form of psychological counselling & rest (4th House); If its placement in the 3rd House is giving problems with excessive energy or potential, one should seek refuge in the Higher learning, wisdom & Gurus to subdue it (9th House) Unless it is prominently featured in a natal chart, its energy normally lies dormant
